Salary/ Pay Scale

Scientific Assistant – B: Rs. 54,162/- Per Month

Assistant Grade – 1 (HR): Rs. 39015/- Per Month

Educational Qualification

Scientific Assistant – B: Diploma in Engineering of 3 (Three) years duration (after SSC/HSC) OR HSC + 2 (Two) years Diploma Course in Engineering (Approved by AICTE). Diploma in Engineering should be in the following disciplines:
Stipendiary Trainee/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA): Diploma in Engineering with not less than 60% marks in relevant discipline recognized by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India; the diploma in engineering should be of 03 (three) years duration after SSC (10 th)/ HSC (10+2) OR Two years Diploma in Engineering in relevant discipline through Lateral Entry to 2nd year after HSC (10+2) approved by AICTE with not less than 60% marks.
Stipendiary Trainee/Technician (ST/Technician): SSC (10th) with minimum 50% marks in Science Subject (s) and Mathematics individually + 2 years ITI certificate in the relevant trade. For trades where the duration of the ITI course is less than 02 (two) years, the candidate should have at least 01 (one) year relevant working experience after completion of the course. Candidate should have studied English as one of the subjects at least at SSC (10th) Level. The prescribed percentage of marks in SSC (10 th ) will not apply to candidates who have passed 10 th (SSC) in the year 2021 and where, due to Covid-19 pandemic, the candidate has been declared pass without awarding of marks & percentage, in accordance with any special order issued by Central/State Authority.
Assistant Grade – 1 (HR): Any Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised University / Institution.
Assistant Grade – 1 (F and A): Any Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised University / Institution.

Scientific Assistant – B: 18-30 years
Stipendiary Trainee/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA): 18-25 years
Stipendiary Trainee/Technician (ST/Technician): 18-24 years
Assistant Grade – 1 (HR): 21-28 years
Assistant Grade – 1 (F and A): 21-28 years
OBC Candidates: 3 Years
SC/ ST Candidates: 5 Years
PWD (General) Candidates: 10 Years
PWD (OBC) Candidates: 13 Years
PWD (SC/ST) Candidates: 15 Years
