Salary/ Pay Scale

Assistant Loco Pilot: Rs. 19,900 – 35,400/- Per Month
Technician Grade – III: Rs. 19,900 – 35,400/- Per Month
Junior Engineer: Rs. 35,400/- Per Month
Train Manager: Rs. 29,200/-per Month

Educational Qualification

Assistant Loco Pilot:Matriculaton Pass Plus (a ) Course Completed Act Apprentceship / ITI approved by NCVT / SCVT in the speciied trades, OR (b) Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/ Automobile Engineering in lieu of ITI.
Technician Grade – III: Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Electrician / Mechanic Auto electrical and Electronics / Wireman / Electronics Mechanic / Mechanic Power Electronics (OR) Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above.
Junior Engineer: Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering of three years duration or (b) a combination of any sub stream of basic streams of Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute.
Train Manager: Degree from recognized University or its equivalent.

Age Limit

Assistant Loco Pilot: 42 years
Technician Grade – III: 42 years
Junior Engineer: 42 years
Train Manager: 42 years
3 years for OBC
5 years for SC, ST

Selection Process

Selection will be based on the Skill Test, Translation Test, Merit, Computer Based Test
